This month I said I’d put up some shots with the new lens. I’ll admit I’ve been very taken with the macro functionality and so all that follows is basically close-ups of pieces of my garden.
Always wanted to take a shot like this, and while this is a little fuzzy I was nevertheless astonished by the level of detail.
We’re doing a lot of patio-stone shifting at the moment – I picked one stone up and found this hive of activity underneath.
I just love this photo. The flower to look at is fairly standard, if vividly coloured, but in macro it just shines.
